WHAT A DAY :-(!!!

Things are continuing to go really well in Vail, and I can't wait for you guys to come experience it with me!! Both of my jobs are finally getting busier (which means I'm FINALLY making some money) and are both a ton of fun. I've met some great friends working at the restaurant, and they are a ton of fun. There are a couple cool people in ski school, but most of them are just weird! My roommate and I had a Christmas party this past Friday, and it was a big hit. I'd say we had at least 30 people there. I worked both jobs the next day though, so that BLEW!

Now for my "what a day"...so yesterday, it was time to make my way home. I woke up in the morning not feeling great, but no biggie. As the day went on it got worse though. By the time I got on the plane I was feeling TERRIBLE, to the point that it brought tears to my eyes, I had aches and chills and every part of my body hurt like hell. Then, the flight was delayed for almost 2 hours, so we just sat on the tarmac waiting. So the flight sucked due to my ever worsening sickness, but we finally landed in Newark. Called my mom to let her know I landed, but her phone was off....weeeiiird. So I call the house, and who answers? My mom. Parents thought I was flying out of Denver and had the wrong flight info. The flight they though I was on wasn't supposed to get in for another 2 hours. So we decided I'd take the bus, because it would be quicker. So they finally open the doors and everyone starts to get off. As I'm walking down the aisle to get off, I pass out. I fell on top of Sadie, so she was not very happy and tried to attack the flight attendent helping me up (luckily she can't do much damage from inside her carrier, scared him though). So they make me take a wheel chair off the plane, which I tried to protest, but when I stood up I almost fell again. They take me to get my bag and to buy a bus ticket. The guy at the counter said that they guy who sells tickets for my bus left and he didn't know when he'd be back. We're waiting and waiting and finally the useless guy says "you can buy a ticket on the bus". Get wheeled outside to wait, wheel chair guy finally leaves, but leaves me in it. So then the bus ends up being a half hour late. The bus driver is an ASS! He sees me get up from the wheelchair, I'm light headed, stumble and almost fall, sit back down for a second and he has the audacity to say "are you coming or not?" Then as I'm making my way to put my bag under the bus, is standing there tapping his foot glaring at me. Get on the bus and he asks me for my ticket and I tell him I have to pay. He starts reaming me out about not having a ticket beforehand and I tell him that there was no guy to get one from. 2 miserable hours later, I FINALLY got home. Now it's Christmas Eve and I'm lying in bed still sick and with a fever. Hopefully it will be gone soon.

I hope things are well with all of you and that you all have a great Christmas. Becky, will you actually get some time off at all? Sounds like you are remaining very busy at the restaurant! I miss you all and want to see you so bad! Merry Christmas!
